AfterAll is home to several  A.K.C. Champion Wire Fox Terriers , one Ch. Dakota  Dalmatian and at the end of 2007, one Standard Poodle. Our Dalmatians have always been co-bred and co-owned with our friends and handlers, Kris and John Benoit (Dakota).  Today, the last of our Champion Dalmatians lives with us, the only "spotted dog" in a kennel of Wire Fox Terriers. 

We have been breeding and raising show dogs since 1978 and they are an important part of our life. In the early years, we had Labradors and Wheaten Terriers, and until the last few years,  several Dalmatians. Now we are dedicated to breeding, raising and showing our Wires. We are members of the Central States Wire Fox Terrier Club, The Fox Terrier Club of Chicago and the American Fox Terrier Club. In addition, we still belong to the Chicagoland Dalmatian Club and The Dalmatian Club of America. We abide by the Code of Ethics for each of these clubs.

We enjoy showing but we know that each dog's show career will be relatively short. Therefore, all our dogs are raised to be family companions. While we do have a kennel, our dogs all get lots of individual time with us. The kennel is a large, airy room with lots of light, music playing, a couch and dog beds scattered around. A box of toys is there for playtime. The majority of my day is spent in the kennel with my dogs as my computer and camera equipment is all there too. I can take new photos, update my website and have a puppy on my lap at the same time!

Visitors usually meet puppies at the kennel  where the pups can run and interact with them. A typical day will find our dogs romping through some of the  wooded pens in our 5.6 acres and adult dogs curled up next to us watching TV in the evening. Every night, our special girl, Judy, can be found sleeping on the bed.
