Meet Ch. Sqwires Playing With Fire

Phoenix had her second litter of puppies at the end of July, 2007. Her three Ginger girls and her tri-colored boy are very handsome with their birth, Phoenix was ready to have her own "forever home." We are delighted that Rick and Maggie decided that she was just the right girl to add to their family. Now our special boy Ch. Bing has joined them too. We couldn't be more pleased!
Read all about Rick and Maggie's story of how they got Phoenix!
Phoenix finished her championship March
25, 2006 with her third major win. She got her first major in Madison where she went for a warm-up for
the Central States Specialty. The following week, she won the 12-18 month class
in a competitive group of bitches at the Specialty.
At the end of December, 2005, she had both her majors and needed just four
single points to finish her championship. She was shown only sparingly since
December due to our travel schedule and puppy plans. However, she is a lovely
bitch who certainly deserved her championship. Her breeders, Gail and Mike,
Sqwire Wire Fox Terriers, put half her points on her, including her first and
last major. My handler and good friend, John Benoit, was on the lead for her
second major and the other half of her points. Thanks go to all of them.
Phoenix has lovely head planes, has a floating side gait and one of the nicest temperaments you could ever find in a Wire. She loves puppies and is playful, but very gentle with pups of any breed. We will be breeding Phoenix in 2006 to our young dog, Hiwire Pinball Wizard and can hardly wait to see what they will produce together.

Phoenix, (Sqwires Playing With Fire) born April 27, 2004, is named after the mythical bird who bursts into flames and then rises again from the ashes.
