Chip and Sally Lowe of Hiwire Wire Fox Terriers sent our Hiwire Kathrich Judy Judy Judy to me a few years ago. I was very happy that they agreed to sell Judy to me as she was and is, one of only a few Carl daughters. However, I doubt that either of us seriously thought that we would form both a close friendship and a great breeding/showing partnership within just a couple years. That is, in fact, exactly what happened. While I have been breeding and showing dogs since the late 1970's, Chip and Sally have far more experience in Wires. Here is a page showing some of their Hiwire dogs.
One of Chip's show prospects this year was Hiwire del Rio of Remington. Rio, although not born at AfterAll, did spend several months growing up with us. He was a character from "Day One," and he spent time playing in our woods with two ginger girls close to his age...one of which was Sky. Now, all grown up, he has had specialty wins and is a champion living with Chip's good friend, Suzy. Here are some details about Rio's show career this year:

Hiwire del Rio of Remington (CH Tamedale Orinoco X CH Hiwire Charisma) was born 12/6/ 08 He was bred by Raymond Lowe/ Diane Ryan/ and Dana Gabel but now is owned by Suzanne Augustine and Raymond Lowe. Chip has him off to a great start and he now only needs a major. Here is a list of his accomplishments so far:
1)Winners Dog/Best of Winners at the New England Specialty under Jane Forsythe
2) Best in Sweepstakes under Smooth breeder John Ruggeri
3) Bred By Exhibitor Group 1 at Middlesex County Kennel Club in Providence, RI.
4) At the
Syracuse Del Otsenango Kennel Club, his second show, Rio was Best of Winners
under breeder
judge Janie Bousek for a major.
Rio has his first litter on the ground who are proof that he is producing very beautiful puppies.
