In the fall of 2005, we bought a 28 foot camping trailer to take to the dog shows. While we really liked it, we were really hoping to eventually get a small motor home. Unexpectedly in May, 2006, we got an opportunity to trade our Outback trailer for a 31 foot SunSeeker motor home! We thought that it would be perfect for us for a long time but then we went to a camper show in early February, 2008, and saw the 38 ft. Gulf Stream Independence pictured above right!  With ten extra feet of space and three slides for more interior space, we think it will be great!

Because of the heavy snow and ice here in the woods, we can't get it home until things melt but we are very anxious to start getting it ready for the spring shows as well as just fun travel.

SunSeeker          Gulf Stream

The Gulf Stream floor plan above shows the two slides, one in the bedroom and two in the living and kitchen area.  Since we no longer have the bunk for small crates, most of the dogs will travel in the dining area which has skylights and slides out.

One thing hasn't changed. We'll still be flying the "Cal Flag" so be sure to stop by and say hello when you see it!
