Ch. Hiwire Kathrich Judy Judy Judy

Of course Miss Judy will be with us in CA! After giving us four beautiful litters and being the ultimate mother and disciplinarian for her puppies, she was recently spayed. She is the dog that is always on my lap each evening and curled up between the pillows on the bed at night. 

AfterAll Painting The Sky

Sky is the puppy that I bought and came to us from North Carolina. The litter produced several show potential puppies but Sky was always our pick. This is what she looked like when she came to us but she is showing even more potential now.  Sky and Judy play together every day, something we rarely are able to do with same sex Wires.  Our plan for Sky is to finish her championship and have a litter or two in CA.

Ch. Cabernet's Caught In A White Lie

Kai and I have been in CA since the beginning of 2009 with a few trips back to IL.  He and I are members of the Active Dog Adventures group here and have opportunities each week to go on hikes in the many regional parks or work on training. I am happy to be closer to Kai's breeders, Mary and Scott Olund ( http://www.cabernetstandardpoodles.com ) We are beginning training to get his Canine Good Citizen certificate and then his Therapy Dog certificate as I would like to make him a "Reading Dog" in the local schools here.

Ch. Hiwire Caliente

It was very hard to make the decision to let Cal go to a new home. He was special from the moment he was born and is such a happy, easy going guy. However, we will continue to see him as he now lives only an hour away from us in California. His new family is willing to keep him "intact" for a year or two so I will be able to do a breeding that I've had in mind for awhile. I know we are not really losing Cal but gaining new friends and that makes it a little easier to let him go. Cal was the ultimate show dog that loved being in the ring but he deserves now to be a much loved pet. He has an awesome family and great dog yard and has already settled in beautifully. 

 
AfterAll Red Tango

Tango is my Cal daughter and I have always liked her. At the present time, she is living with and being shown by our good friend and handler, John Benoit. She now needs only a single point to finish her championship. Once she is done showing, she will join us in CA and have a litter before joining a family of her own. We hope to place her with a California family so she can stay near us. 

AfterAll A Fine Frenzy of Hiwire

Frenzy is our Link X Judy daughter and she has spent most of 2008 with her co-owner, Chip Lowe in NY.  She's now being shown by her co-breeder and her  co-owner, Dana Bryson and is off to a great start with back to back specialty majors. Dana and Frenzy also won a big Bred By class at the Central States specialty. We are all very high on her, so she will be shown selectively and at specialties in 2009. Dana has a special interest in Frenzy as she showed Link very successfully and made him the #1 Wire in the country.

There most likely will  be other show potential pups that I will be a co-breeder or co-owner on and I will look forward to that.
